Where is Dai Lanh Beach?
Dai Lanh Beach is located approximately 90km north of Nha Trang city, situated at the boundary between Phú Yên and Khánh Hòa provinces, near National Highway 1A. The beach stretches for about 2.1km and features white sand, lush forests, safe swimming conditions, and beautiful pine woods. With the recent opening of tunnels on both sides of the pass, previous road noise issues have been resolved, making it an even quieter beach destination.
Transportation to Dai Lanh from Nha Trang
Personal Motorbike or Car (Most Popular)
Riding a motorbike from Nha Trang city center takes approximately 1.5 hours. Follow Phạm Văn Đồng Road to National Highway 1A and continue until arrival. This route is known for its scenic drive with mountains on one side and the sea on the other. Car rentals cost approximately $9–15 for the trip.
Bus
Buses heading toward Tuy Hòa depart from Nha Trang's northern bus terminal and stop at Dai Lanh. Tickets can be purchased online in advance. Buses use the newly built tunnels for faster travel.
Train + Taxi Combination
Trains depart daily at 6:35 AM from Nha Trang Station, with fares around 45,000 VND. After arriving by train, continue to the beach by taxi or motorbike.

The beach is equipped with restrooms, sun loungers, cafés, and bars. Lifeguards and first-aid supplies are stationed on the beach. The beach slope is gentle, so snorkeling equipment is not necessary.

Beach Swimming and Walks
The beach has a gentle slope; even 100m offshore, water reaches only chest level. Surrounded by mountains, the waves are calm.
Dai Lanh Lighthouse
Lighthouse entry fee is 20,000 VND. The distance to the lighthouse is about 20m, and from the lighthouse to the beach is 15m.
Điệp Sơn Island – "Road Over the Sea"
Instead of a boat, you can walk from the mainland to the island. The total walking distance is 700m. The winding path, about 1m wide, allows you to experience the unique sensation of walking over clear seawater.
Khai Lương Fishing Village
The fishing village is located at the northern end of Dai Lanh and takes only a few minutes to reach by boat.
